Pete Thuli
Co Owner, Van Builder, Stoker of Life

The world of traveling and living in vans isn’t new to Pete. He’s been living and breathing “vanlife” for the past 4 years - from traveling across the country and calling a van his home to building out vans for other people, Pete has been continuously fueled by this lifestyle. This continued excitement for life made him passionate about sharing this adventurous lifestyle with others and showing people that they CAN do it to.

New Wave Vans is a way for Pete to help others live their dreams of travel and adventure. Whether he’s building out a van for a weekend warrior, a full-time vanlifer, or someone who’s looking for an epic cross-country roadtrip, Pete’s experience living in and building vans can be felt in every build.

When Pete isn’t building vans, you’ll find him on the road in his own van - either rock climbing, surfing, snowboarding, or hiking. Being inside for too long isn’t Pete’s vibe. On top of that, he’s always in search of good conversation, belly laughs, and the best Indian Food.

Brandon Lord
Co Owner, Van Builder, Mountain Shredder

Adventure and travel is no stranger to Brandon. Whether snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains, backpacking in Iceland, or learning how to fly a plane - he is always finding ways to broaden his knowledge and experience. That also includes challenging others to get out of their comfort zone and try something new. He truly believes you’re never too young or old to try something new.

Working a “9-5” career job has helped Brandon realize that people can get busy with life and forget to stay in touch with nature. New Wave Vans was formed to help others get back outside and explore new terrain. Whether you work a “9-5” and want to become a weekend traveler, or have the luxury of working remote, or want to experience vanlife full time - these vans are designed to help you get in nature and explore.

In his free time, you’ll find Brandon on another adventure, hanging out/climbing with friends, or being with family. He’s always in search of a good time with good people.

Snoop
Boss Man, Customer Service Rep, The Best Boy

Snoop is the boss, plain and simple. His years of building and living in vans makes him the perfect overall project manager. Although you’ll find Snoop laying on his comfortable tempur-pedic bed in the wood shop, he always has one eye on Pete and Brandon, making sure they’re working efficiently and effectively. Without Snoop, this operation wouldn’t be possible.

In his spare time, Snoop loves smelling all the smells, finding and chewing on sticks, cuddling, and finding rays of sunshine to lay in. He has the biggest heart and loves absolutely everyone.
